Hiring: Survey SUE Technician I Company: Bowman Consulting Location: Albuquerque, NM Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 12:56:36 About the job Required Skills: •Bowman has an opportunity for a Survey SUE Technician I to join our team in Albuquerque, NM. •Work outdoors using electromagnetic equipment and ground penetrating radar to detect subsurface utilities. Also perform vacuum truck operation; perform utility mark out and surveying activities; and document work with sketches, photos, spreadsheets and/or written reports. •Leadership and Direction •Perform work under direct supervision of an experienced professional and follow established procedures and clearly defined processes. Receive direction on all aspects of assignments, specific tasks and how to execute. Work is thoroughly reviewed by more senior staff to ensure application of sound techniques and principles. •At The Operational And Company Level •Locate underground utilities through nondestructive methods. •Operate Data Collectors and collect field measurements. •Record and document the underground utility field data accurately. Qualifications: •High school diploma or GED strongly preferred. Commensurate relevant experience considered. •Entry level position, no prior experience required. •Ability/willingness to travel for work assignments, including occasional overnight assignments. •Demonstrated capacity to pass pre-employment drug screening and random thereafter. •Demonstrated capacity to work outside in all seasons and conditions. •Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required. •Are you ready to build a career that makes a lasting impact?
