Hiring: Survey Director Company: Bowman Consulting Location: Arkansas, United States Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 07:42:16 Employment Type: Contract About the job Required Skills: •Leadership and Direction •Receive broad guidance from senior-level management relating to overall key objectives, critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters and general parameters for execution. Manage people and processes to ensure effective execution. Review work produced by staff for quality assurance. •Provide oversight and direction of department or business unit including strategy, budgeting, staff, and deliverables. •At The Operational And Company Level •Assist with the marketing of the firm’s capabilities to establish new clients and enhance relationships with existing clients. •Coordinate with other internal departments to meet project requirements. •Serve as technical advisor by providing senior level input and evaluation on projects. •Meet with prospective clients, prepare proposals, and establish budgets and schedules. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or related field preferred. •Ten or more (10+) years of land surveying or related land development experience to include a minimum of two (2) years project management experience. •Knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Carlson principles. •Must be licensed surveyor in relevant state. •Strong Survey Business Acumen - Prepare Proposals, RFP responses, Desire to pursue Business Development - Survey Accounting - Includes billing, project reports and collections. •Strong Local Jurisdictional Knowledge for Plat preparation and approval. •Are you ready to build a career that makes a lasting impact?
