This role will be work from home and MUST reside within the territory**. •Lead and oversee developing an expert level knowledge of all CNA Surety products and services to sell and educate agency customers on the services and solutions to meet customer needs and achieve call/sales quotas per week and month. •Conduct regular sales calls to all agencies in assigned territory to create interest, manage and enhance relationships and brand loyalty to achieve increased business retention and new premium growth. Adjust to market changes to determine most effective and efficient method for relationship touchpoints. •Utilize and leverage all technology resources effectively, particularly for virtual contacts, to address customer needs and deliver effective selling strategies, including presentations. •Use creative communication skills to effectively educate and train agents on the use of agent automation services or other product and technology changes/enhancements for ease of doing business. •As a relationship manager, field and listen to agent customers and gather any details relating to an agent complaint as outlined in the manual so it can be addressed and resolved. •Prospect for and seek out new agency appointments or other business opportunities utilizing many resources. Identify all agents in the assigned territory with growth opportunities which have good commercial and contract bond business. Appoint them or place them on the prospect list. •Build effective relationships and regularly participate in collaboration meetings with internal and external customers to align efforts, set sales strategies, drive business and deliver best possible service. This includes collaborating with leadership and the underwriting team who executes on new business opportunities. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in sales or business development, or customer-facing role.
