Required Skills: •Lead and oversee proactive and reactive containment at suppliers. •Lead and oversee reviewing and participate in approval of necessary boundary samples, appearance catalogs, etc. •Lead and oversee ensuring change management occurs and is identified properly, and proactively for product architecture requests. •Lead and oversee Supplier PPAPs and ongoing activities within the supply chain from development to series production. •Lead and oversee supplier audits and corrective actions to ensure their ability to meet part performance, delivery, and reliability expectations. •Lead and oversee driving continuous improvement activities utilizing Lean Manufacturing principles. •This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Columbia, South Carolina. •Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time. Qualifications: •Understanding of IATF, VDA, ISO, DIN, and regulatory requirements •Strong teamwork and communication skills, a high level of assertiveness as well as entrepreneurial thinking and goal- and result-oriented decision-making skills •Certification in AIAG Core Tools- MSA, APQP, FMEA, Control Plans, PPAP •Leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams •Proven results and ability to direct supplier activities at the management level to ensure suppliers can meet customer requirements and expectations. •Proven ability to execute project management techniques. •Strong technical writing ability using SPC and data analysis as well as an ability to explain complex issues in a concise and plain manner. •Medical, dental, vision and income protection plans •An employer match and immediate vesting Compensation: •$95,000 - $120,000 / year •Flexible work environment (work from home / hybrid options) •Medical, dental, vision and income protection plans Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
