The role involves supplier development, quality improvement, APQP/PPAP, new product launches, supplier audits, and hands-on resolution of quality issues. •Lead and manage supplier quality activities for casting and machined components •Drive APQP, PPAP, and engineering change management processes at supplier locations •Provide hands-on support to suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve process capability •Support new product development, launch, and ramp-up quality activities •Conduct supplier audits, assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives •Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and ensure sustainable quality improvements •Act as a technical interface between suppliers, manufacturing, and engineering teams Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline •7–10+ years of experience in manufacturing, supplier quality, operations, or quality engineering •Strong hands-on experience with aluminum casting processes, especially •Knowledge of sand casting and other high-pressure casting processes is preferred •Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, supplier audits, CAPA, and structured problem-solving •Strong shop-floor problem-solving and supplier quality improvement experience •Willingness to travel frequently to supplier locations within and outside the USA Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
