Company: Obsolete Site Location: Fort Belvoir, VA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-17 11:00:50 Employment Type: Full-time Target Skills & Keywords : AutoCAD, BLS, CAD, Quality Assurance, Security Clearance About the job Experience: •Demonstrated capacity to Lead or Supervise •Manages and Organizes Information Required Skills: •Directs the daily round-the-clock operations and shift scheduling for the emergency communication center. •Conducts quality assurance reviews on a minimum of 10% of incoming service calls. •Designs and leads training sessions to certify new emergency dispatch personnel. •Develops employee performance standards and conducts formal appraisals for subordinates. •Resolves informal employee complaints and grievances within the workplace. •Ensures subordinates maintain a level of proficiency in the performance of their duties that will best serve Fort Belvoir populace. •Consults with the Fire Chief, Physical Security Chief, and Police Chief on operational and procedural issues concerning fire, police, and security response. Qualifications: •Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. •This position requires you to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance. •Incumbent may be required to wear a uniform. •Incumbent is required to work (mission essential) regardless of weather conditions or base closure and to report to the duty station when required. •Incumbent must pass a pre-employment; fingerprint based criminal history investigation for any location that accesses Criminal Justice Information Systems. •A: Department of Defense Telecommunicate I and II Instructor or equivalent b: Basic Life Support (BLS) Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) •C. Department of Defense Hazardous Materials Awareness or equivalent d. IS-100 (Introduction to the Incident Command System (ISCS)) •E. IS-200 (ICS for Single Resources and Initial Action System) •F. IS-700 (Introduction to National Incident Management System g. IS-800 (Introduction to National Response Framework) •Incumbent must complete State National Crime Information Center (NCIC) certification within 6 months of start date.
