Required Skills: •Serves as first line supervisor, exercising the full range of personnel management responsibilities over subordinate positions and also directs, coordinates and oversees work of the section. •Plans, assigns and reviews work completed by subordinates and either accepts or rejects their work. •Provides hands-on subject matter expertise to the agency’s programs, projects, and services, ensuring compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). •Serves as the primary interface with the contract management/administration office and principle advisor to the PM in all areas of procurement related resources. •Leads the preparation and coordination of high-level briefings presented to senior staff, key leadership, and DISA officials. •Provides guidance/support to Program Managers at all levels and CORs in support of the center. Monitors all acquisitions on the acquisition tracking systems and reports key milestones to the PM. Qualifications: •Must be a U.S. Citizen. •Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service. •This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination. •This is a drug testing designated position. •Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) as a condition of employment. •The incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450 Executive Branch Confidential Financial Disclosure Report. •There is no substitution of education for the qualifying experienceat the GG-13 grade level. •This position is in the Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It is being recruited under 10 U.S.C. 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system. •If you are a current Federal Career/Career-Conditional employee, you will be placed on an Excepted appointment. •This appointment does not confer eligibility to be non-competitively converted to an appointment in the competitive service.
