Required Skills: •HEALTH, SAFETY AND COMPLIANCE: Ensure the facility is compliant with all relevant licensing and insurance regulations. Perform regular walkthroughs to identify and address safety hazards and maintenance needs. Respond to and manage emergency and building maintenance situations. •MAINTENANCE AND PROJECTS: Oversee all maintenance and repair activities, both routine and emergency. Manage external contractors and vendors, including reviewing contracts and ensuring work is completed correctly. •ADMINISTRATION AND COMMUNICATION: Keep accurate asset register for all equipment and systems. Track expenses. Handle administrative tasks, such as maintaining building statistics and submitting reports. Support projects like office relocations, furniture assembly and minor renovations. Respond to employee concerns in a timely manner. •ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP & SUSTAINABILITY: Manage and safeguard the natural environment. Qualifications: •High School Diploma or GED Required. •2-year degree with concentration in the area of facilities, occupational safety or related areas or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience preferred. •Knowledge of OSHA and other health/safety regulatory agencies. •Skilled in the use of computers including the Windows operating system and typical programs such as Word, Excel, and Internet-based applications. •Strong communication skills (verbal and written), ability to interact with management and a wide spectrum of individuals. Adept at public speaking. •Demonstrated capacity to work as a team member. •Must be available to work outside of regular business hours to include weekends and holidays. •Should be able to use critical thinking to solve problems. •Requires sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, to permit the employee to function in a general office environment and accomplish tasks and duties as outlined above.
