Required Skills: •Plans and coordinates work, trains, motivates, monitors and evaluates performance of employees; ensures their ability to SAFELY operate equipment to produce product; counsels, records, and disciplines as necessary. •Lead and oversee all processes, equipment, employees’ safety, and housekeeping of the entire operations area and meeting productions quality and quantity standards on the shift. •Actively facilitate and support plant to manufacture and deliver quality products to meet customer expectations. •Partner cross-functionally with members of the supply chain; operations, product management, and customer support teams, to engage and work effectively across all levels of the organization. •Facilitate training and development in lean techniques. •Active member of Plant Safety Team •Initiate actions to prevent any non-conformances related to product, process and systems. •Interface directly with operational leadership to ensure appropriate plant KPIs are established. Qualifications: •Associates degree or Bachelor’s degree is preferred. •Demonstrated capacity to lead, motivate, select, train and instruct personnel. •Good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills are a must. •Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus. •Demonstrated Project Management skills are a must. •Excellent knowledge and understanding of ERP systems and ERP implementation protocols and procedures. •Knowledge of continuous Improvement tools and their application (PDCA, root cause analysis etc.) •Outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to lead others, coach and model effective teamwork. •Demonstrated capacity to plan, organize and handle a variety of tasks and responsibilities simultaneously. •Demonstrated capacity to work independently and self-directed.
