Hiring: Structural Engineering Department Manager Company: Stanley Consultants Location: DeBary, FL Job Posted Time: 2026-09-15 11:37:10 Employment Type: Contract Target Skills & Keywords : AutoCAD, CAD, Microsoft Excel, Project Management, Quality Assurance, Railway About the job Experience: •15 years of relevant professional experience •5 years of experience at the Project Manager level •At least 15 years of relevant professional experience •At least 5 years of experience at the Project Manager level Required Skills: •Stanley Consultants is currently seeking a Structural Department Manager for our West Palm Beach, FL office. •Build, develop, mentor, and grow an experienced and passionate team to grow the firm’s Florida transportation structural market •Lead, direct, and mentor transportation structural members on projects, including plan development for a comprehensive range of transportation structural design projects •Determine staffing requirements and make recommendations for hiring team members •Interface directly with leadership to develop and implement strategic growth strategies •Develop marketing strategies and proposal writing for transportation structural project opportunities •Participate in project scoping, fee estimating, proposal preparation, interviews, and negotiations •Provide department status, performance, and forecasts to the Group Manager on a regular basis Qualifications: •Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida •Requires considerable experience preparing preliminary and final bridge design contract documents for roadway, railway, and waterway crossing bridges •Knowledge of AASHTO Load-And-Resistance Factor Design (LRFD) Bridge Design Specifications, Standard Specifications for Structural Supports for Highway Signs, Luminaires and Traffic Signals, and Manual for Bridge Evaluation.
