Hiring: Strategy Analyst – Competitive Intelligence & Market Analysis Company: Rocketdyne Location: United States Job Posted Time: 2026-09-11 13:57:33 Employment Type: Contract Target Skills & Keywords : Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint About the job Experience: •Knowledge of the space, defense, propulsion, or aerospace markets •Demonstrated capacity to synthesize large amounts of quantitative and qualitative information into executive-level insights •Business development Required Skills: •Conduct competitive intelligence and market analysis across Rocketdyne’s space, defense, propulsion, power, and adjacent markets. •Develop and maintain market models, forecasts, and databases to assess market size, growth rates, customer demand, competitive positioning, and emerging opportunities. •Track competitors, including product portfolios, technologies, customers, contract awards, partnerships, acquisitions, investments, and strategic direction. •Analyze government budgets, acquisition plans, program documents, contract awards, and other public and proprietary sources to identify market trends and opportunities. •Develop competitor profiles and assessments to support strategic planning, business development, and investment decisions. •Identify emerging technologies, market disruptions, customer trends, and potential threats or opportunities to Rocketdyne’s businesses. •Support annual strategic planning, portfolio reviews, growth initiatives, and long-range planning. •Develop executive-level presentations and analyses that clearly communicate findings, implications, and recommendations. Qualifications: •Bachelor's Degree with 4 years prior experience, or Graduate Degree with 2 years prior experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience. •Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
