Hiring: Sterile Processing Tech - Sterile Supply Company: CHRISTUS Health Location: San Antonio, TX Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 14:35:54 Employment Type: Full-time About the job Experience: •1 – 2 years of experience in sterile processing preferred •HSPA Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) or Certified Registered Central Sterile Tech (CRCST) required Required Skills: •Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders. •Acts as liaison between SPD, Perioperative Services, Labor and Delivery, and Nursing Units. •Provide input on PAR level adds, changes, and deletions. •Take physical inventories, on a periodic basis, of Floor Stock and SPD to ensure accuracy and integrity of the system. •Understand, operate and instruct associates on the proper use of inventory control devices, i.e. scanners and bar code readers. •Assist all newly assigned Floor Stock associates in all facets of SPD functions. •Ensure sound inventory control practices are adhered to, such as stock rotation, care custody, and control of all inventory. •Demonstrates competence to perform assigned client care responsibilities in a way that meets the age-specific and developmental needs of the persons served by the department.
