Hiring: Standards Specialist Company: Fullsight Location: Warrendale, PA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-16 12:53:58 Target Skills & Keywords : Project Management About the job Experience: •4 years' (5+ years preferred) experience in managing committees/working with technical organizations or similar collaborative groups Required Skills: •Manage the work of assigned technical committees, ensuring the successful development, maintenance, and publication of SAE standards •Serve as the primary liaison to committee leadership and members, facilitating communication, providing guidance on policy and process, and delivering training as needed •Support both virtual and in-person committee meetings, working closely with the Standards Operations Specialist to plan logistics and coordinate schedules •Lead technical committee meetings, representing SAE and facilitating productive discussions that advance committee objectives •Use metrics, industry knowledge, and committee data to assess committee health, identify growth opportunities, and drive continuous improvement •Partner cross-functionally with colleagues across SAE—including product, content management, legal, marketing, and sales—to ensure efficient standards development from initiation to publication •Provide administrative oversight for SAE’s Standards Systems Groups and support committee use of SAE platforms, policies, and tools •Identify and implement process improvements to enhance committee operations and overall program efficiency Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, and 4 years' (5+ years preferred) experience in managing committees/working with technical organizations or similar collaborative groups •Demonstrated capacity to engage with a variety of stakeholders, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures while maintaining business and strategic interests •Demonstrated capacity to work in a team and individually •Demonstrated capacity to assimilate technical information •Demonstrated capacity to travel 40% of the time •Demonstrated capacity to work for long periods at a computer desk •SAE Industry Technologies Consortia® (SAE ITC) •Enables organizations to define and pilot best practices.
