Required Skills: •Lead technical design and architecture initiatives for a sophisticated multi-asset trading platform. •Design, develop, and maintain scalable distributed applications using Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and AWS. •Drive modernization efforts focused on scalability, performance, resiliency, and long-term maintainability. •Work closely with Product Managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. •Support production systems and provide technical leadership for critical business initiatives. •Mentor and develop junior and mid-level engineers across a globally distributed team. •Define technical standards, engineering best practices, and development roadmaps. •Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical design discussions. Qualifications: •Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline. •Deep expertise in Java and backend application development. •Strong experience building applications using Spring Boot and RESTful APIs. •In-depth knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, scalability, and performance optimization. •Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical direction and collaborate across teams. •Financial services, wealth management, asset management, FinTech, or capital markets experience. •Knowledge of equities, fixed income, trading workflows, order routing, portfolio construction, or investment operations.
