Hiring: Staff Site IT Manager Company: GE Aerospace Location: Erlanger, KY Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 13:56:55 Target Skills & Keywords : Manufacturing Execution Systems, Six Sigma About the job Experience: •3 years of professional experience in Manufacturing IT OR leading site-level IT operations within a plant environment •Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Manufacturing IT OR leading site-level IT operations within a plant environment Required Skills: •Designs & implements the roadmap to drive digital improvements across IT infrastructure & application landscape. •Influences LPBs and below on their decisions. •Strong background supporting and stabilizing manufacturing site infrastructure (networking, PCs, wireless, RF scanners, printers, A/V, telecom). •Performs as part of the Shop leadership team representing information technology. •Partners with the business to participate in lean/ process improvement initiatives & enable business transformation leveraging digital tools. •Familiar with all business applications in use at the site and have awareness of overall business flow. •Familiar with the digital product catalog and how it fits in with site operations. •Works on machine instrumentation initiatives to enable enhanced business operations. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 4 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 7 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 9 years of professional experience •Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience •Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
