Hiring: Staff Program Manager, Corporate Communications (Remote) Company: Seagate Technology Location: United States Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 10:27:40 Employment Type: Full-time / Remote About the job Required Skills: •Develop and implement media relations strategies to enhance and protect the company's public image and brand. •Demonstrate established relationships with tech and business media outlets, journalists, and influencers. •Oversee the agency in the creation and distribution of brand messaging toolkits, press releases, tailored pitches, media kits, and other communication materials. •Support executive spokespersons for the company, handling media inquiries, in-market speakerships, social media platforms and media interviews. •Monitor and deliver media coverage and contribute to achieving PR team goal KPIs. •Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels. •Manage crisis communication and develop strategies to mitigate potential negative publicity. •Plan and execute media events, press conferences, and other public relations activities. Qualifications: •Demonstrated success in successfully managing media relations and securing positive media coverage. •Technology industry experience and/or expertise. •Excellent, high quality written and verbal communication skills on tight deadlines. •Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with media professionals. •Demonstrated capacity to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. •Crisis communication and corporate communications messaging development. •Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field or equivalent experience. •Extensive experience in media relations, corporate communications or public relations. •Remote United States; United States; This is a fully remote opportunity. •Seagate is able to offer virtual employment for this position in the following states: AL, AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, NH, NJ, NM, NY, NV, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI, WY.
