We are seeking a Staff Power Electronics Engineer to provide technical leadership in the design of high-reliability power electronics for spacecraft and defense systems. •This is a senior individual contributor role responsible for architecting and delivering power conversion solutions while mentoring engineers and partnering across systems, software, mechanical, manufacturing, and program teams. •Architect and design high-reliability power electronics including DC-DC converters and related subsystems such as inverters, motor drives, or battery-management systems. •Perform circuit design, simulation, component selection, schematic capture, and guide PCB layout, thermal, and EMI/EMC considerations. •Lead hardware bring-up, integration, debug, verification, and qualification activities. •Develop and review specifications, design reviews, test plans, and verification documentation. •Solve complex technical issues using structured root-cause analysis. •Provide technical mentorship and design guidance to less experienced engineers. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline. •Strong experience designing DC-DC power converters or closely related power conversion circuits. •In-depth knowledge of power semiconductor devices. MOSFET experience required; IGBT, SiC, and GaN experience is beneficial. •Strong communication, collaboration, and technical leadership skills. •Master’s degree in electrical engineering, Power Electronics, or related field. •Work on mission-critical spacecraft and defense programs, influence technical direction as a Staff Engineer, collaborate with highly experienced multidisciplinary teams, and help develop the next generation of engineers.
