Required Skills: •Participate in projects and engineer new systems. •Maintain and develop all Linux infrastructure for a 24/7 uptime service. •Monitor performance of critical servers and applications and perform corrections as needed. •Manage best practices on Linux systems and services across the manufacturing floor. •Upgrade and maintenance of hardware/software in the IT infrastructure •Engage and manage 3rd-party vendors to achieve expedient resolution •Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hotfixes on Linux infrastructure. •Create and maintain system documentation for specifications, designs, procedures, and logs. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. •Minimum 5+ years of working experience as a Linux Administrator. •Enhance processes and procedures to perform automated daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs, such as backups. •Linux certification a plus (RHCE, RHCT, LPIC, Linux+) •Support daily backup and recovery operations •Base salary is just one component of ZT Systems total rewards philosophy.
