These projects span a multitude of geotechnical support roles, from geotechnical exploration to geotechnical support during construction. •Perform technical analyses, calculations, and design for various engineering projects, including but not limited to site development, foundation design, retaining walls, earthwork, and pavements. •Utilize engineering software and tools for design, modeling, and data analysis (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GeoStudio, gINT, Tablogs). •Perform site investigations, field inspections, and data collection to support project objectives. •Draft exploration reports for review by senior professionals. •Technical Expertise: Develop and apply foundational knowledge in environmental regulations, civil design principles, geotechnical investigations, and construction material testing. Assist in data collection, analysis, and basic report preparation under direct supervision. •Client Relationship Management: Begin to understand the importance of client satisfaction. Assist in clear and concise communication with clients regarding project updates and data, always under the guidance of senior staff. Learn how to maintain professional demeanor and build rapport. •Quality Control and Assurance: Adhere strictly to company and project-specific quality control procedures. Assist in reviewing data and reports for accuracy and completeness, learning the principles of quality assurance in a consulting environment. Qualifications: •Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a closely related field of study from an ABET-accredited institution. •Currently in progress towards obtaining Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Geologist-in-Training (GIT) certification.
