Hiring: Staff Applications Estimator Company: Crusoe Location: Arvada, CO Job Posted Time: 2026-09-02 17:56:50 Employment Type: Full-time Target Skills & Keywords: Applications Estimating, Cost Estimation, Technical Sales, Electrical Manufacturing, Scope of Work (SOW), Bill of Materials (BOM), Switchboards, Switchgear, Electrical Enclosures, Quotation Generation, Pricing Models, RFQ Management, Vendor Quote Analysis, ERP (Acumatica), National Electrical Code (NEC), E-houses / PDCs Experience: - Bachelor's or Associate degree in Engineering, Technology, Construction Management, or a related field with 4+ years of estimating experience; OR - 5–8 years of direct experience in estimating, costing, and technical sales in an engineered-to-order manufacturing environment Required Skills: - Strong technical knowledge in the production and assembly of electrical enclosures, low/medium voltage switchboards, and switchgear - Ability to analyze customer specifications, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and single-line schematics - Experience developing and maintaining standardized pricing tools, cost models, and BOM templates - Ability to calculate labor hours for fabrication, painting, assembly, and wiring, including design engineering hours - Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace tools - Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail - Strong sense of urgency, high adaptability, and ability to manage multiple concurrent project quotes Qualifications: - Detail-oriented professional with a strong technical foundation in electrical manufacturing - Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset - Experience interfacing directly with customers and technical consultants to clarify project scope and requirements - Proven ability to produce formal customer quotations and establish markups and strategic pricing - Safety-sensitive position: drug and alcohol program participation required - Bonus: Specialized knowledge of modular electrical buildings (e-houses / PDCs) - Bonus: Experience with ERP software, specifically Acumatica - Bonus: Familiarity with interpreting National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements Compensation: $115,000 – $140,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units included in all offers. Compensation determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
