Required Skills: •Identify opportunities to improve valuation processes, controls, and operational effectiveness. •Lead and support initiatives that enhance efficiency, scalability, and consistency across valuation activities. •Help transition valuation efforts from ad hoc investigations and manual analyses to proactive monitoring and issue identification. •Partner cross-functionally with stakeholders to evaluate current processes and implement sustainable improvements. •Support valuation model development, enhancement, and validation efforts. •Participate in initiatives related to financial reporting modernization and future-state valuation capabilities. •Analyze and improve valuation data sourcing and data flow processes. •Partner with data and technology teams to strengthen data quality, transparency, and governance. Qualifications: •Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or related field and 5 years of relevant experience. •In lieu of Bachelor's, will accept Master's in a listed discipline and 3 years of relevant experience. •ASA or equivalent professional designation. •Demonstrates high quality judgment, organization and prioritization skills. Effectively communicates, both verbally and in writing, advanced mathematical and analytical concepts to various audiences. •Works well under pressure and within time constraints to effectively accomplish individual and team objectives. •Exposure to US GAAP, statutory reporting, principle-based reserving, or related valuation frameworks. •Strong data analytics skills, including experience with SQL, Python, Power BI, or similar tools. •Operational familiarity with actuarial modeling platforms such as AXIS or comparable systems. •This is a hybrid position requiring three days (Tuesday-Thursday) in office per week in one of our hub locations (Cedar Rapids, Baltimore, Philadelphia, or Denver). •Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position Compensation: •$100,000 - $125,000 / year •Flexible work environment (work from home / hybrid options) •Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus of 12 Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
