Required Skills: •Performs general accounting tasks and maintains accurate financial records. •Creates and posts journal entries and clears bank adjusting entries. •Completes monthly bank reconciliations and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) checklists. •Reconciles petty cash and verifies company credit card transactions. •Provides backup support for accounts payable and reconciles Received Not Invoiced (RNI) accounts. •Sends vendor payment remittances and supports month-end reporting activities. •Investigates general ledger (GL) variances to ensure an accurate and timely close. •Assists with data gathering for cost analysis, including cost validation for percentage of completion (POC). Qualifications: •Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience. •Four or more years of experience in accounting practices. •Knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements. •Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills. •High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality. •Excellent data entry, analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills. •Effective verbal, listening, and written communication skills. •Strong organizational, stress, and time management skills. •Demonstrates a sense of urgency and the ability to meet deadlines. •Demonstrated capacity to work independently or as part of a team.
