Hiring: Sr Technician Company: Pavion Location: Reno, NV Job Posted Time: 2026-09-16 19:04:27 Employment Type: Contract Target Skills & Keywords : Project Management, Systems Design About the job Experience: •5 years minimum experience with security/life safety related system installations Required Skills: •Perform upgrades and additions to security/life safety related systems in order to increase functionality •Evaluate, diagnose, troubleshoot and perform repairs as necessary •Install, maintain, or repair security/life safety related systems, devices, or related equipment, following blueprints of electrical layouts and building plans •All work is performed to RFI standards and quality techniques are practiced •Adhere to procedures and standards in system design for quality installations •Maintain accurate project information with in RFI shared files and system •Demonstrated capacity to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities without supervision •Capacity to organize workload for effective implementation Qualifications: •High school education, or equivalent, or 2-year associate degree in electronics required •Proper hand and power tool operations and safety •IP networking application on Access Control, IP Video, Cloud Hosted security related products and services •Avigilon ACS and CCTV VMS •Notifier and Siemens Fire Alarm Systems •Military training / experience a plus •The hourly pay range for this position is Compensation: •Competitive benefits and rewards package •The starting hourly pay will be determined based on qualifications, experience, education, skills, certifications, and internal equity Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
