Hiring: Sr Strategic Sourcing Specialist-Indirect Company: Solstice Advanced Materials Location: Geismar, LA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-03 11:12:33 Employment Type: Hybrid About the job Experience: •3 years of relevant strategic sourcing experience •2 years in an indirect procurement function at a multinational corporation with global contracts Required Skills: •As a Sr Strategic Sourcing Specialist here at Solstice Advanced Materials, you will be a part of the Corporate Indirect Procurement Operating Supplies Category Strategy Team (CST), responsible for category strategies, execution, and results to optimize total cost of ownership across all regions. •This is a hybrid role and can be located in Geismar, LA or Houston TX. •Partner with Buying Operations Team and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and support of category strategy creation and execution. Facilitate engagement across all regions to drive a singular approach to supplier management in assigned commodity space •Consolidate fragmented global spend, reduce the use of non-strategic suppliers, and move the procurement activities upstream in the lifecycle of a solution in order to bring greater value to Solstice •Execute the annual operating plan through year-over-year improvements in productivity, working capital, quality, delivery and supply continuity •Negotiate and execute supply agreements with strategic suppliers capable of providing solutions that meet established business requirements and follow the global commodity strategies while maximizing benefit to Solstice •Minimum of 3 years of relevant strategic sourcing experience •Minimum of 2 years in an indirect procurement function at a multinational corporation with global contracts Qualifications: •Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
