Required Skills: •This position is required to report to the Austin, TX or Somerset, NJ location on a hybrid basis. •Design, build, and optimize Power BI semantic models using Power BI Desktop, Tabular Editor, and related modeling tools. •Develop advanced DAX measures and calculations to support complex business logic, reporting requirements, and analytical use cases. •Ensure semantic models are scalable, maintainable, high-performing, and aligned with enterprise standards and best practices. •Optimize semantic models within Microsoft Fabric, including performance tuning, model architecture, refresh processes, and usability. •Troubleshoot Power BI models, measures, and refresh processes to improve reliability, efficiency, and user experience. •Microsoft Fabric and Analytics Engineering •Develop and maintain Power BI datasets, reports, dataflows, and related assets supporting enterprise analytics solutions. Qualifications: •Advanced expertise in analytics engineering, semantic modeling, and enterprise reporting solutions. •Strong proficiency with DAX, including the ability to design and implement complex business calculations. •Comprehensive expertise in data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, star schema design, and analytics modeling best practices. •Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. •Demonstrated capacity to work effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders. •Operational familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and version control practices. •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or relevant work experience required •Applied hands-on capability in Power BI tools such as Tabular Editor, DAX Studio, and ALM Toolkit. •Operational familiarity with lakehouse storage concepts and file formats such as Parquet and Delta.
