Required Skills: •What You Will Be Doing •Build Internal and External Development platforms, build developer workflows, test apps and Supports Virtual Rack Architecture to enable virtual test environments for NGHE. •Design and architect cloud-based applications and solutions on the AWS platform. •Partner cross-functionally with software engineers and development teams to define scalable and resilient architectures for cloud applications. •Provide guidance on AWS services and best practices to ensure optimal utilization of cloud resources. •Develop and document architectural patterns, standards, and guidelines for cloud-based applications. •Assess and optimize application performance, security, and availability on the AWS platform. •Conduct system architecture reviews and provide recommendations for improvements and optimizations. Qualifications: •Masters or Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other related engineering degree, or equivalent experience. •Possess a strong understanding of developing and architecting development platforms including creating software catalog, developer portal, and plugin architecture. •Proficient in designing and implementing custom developer experiences along with integrating with CI/CD pipelines and building a Service Catalog. •Good understanding and experience working with Kubernetes within the development platform ecosystems (e.g. Backstage or similar). •This role involves a blend of front-end and back-end development, particularly in TypeScript and React, as well as integration with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms.
