Required Skills: •You are expected to reflect leadership behaviors hold self and others accountable, encourage teamwork and deliver a quality work product – you are expected to lead by example and in accordance with Pratt & Whitney culture and values expectations •Coach employees to develop a motivated, effective team and proactively address performance issues, as needed •Lead process improvement opportunities using Lean strategies to enhance quality. •Implement root-cause corrective actions in a timely manner to ensure quality standards are maintained. •Meet and track the operation schedule for quality functions, while maintaining a quality product, plan and execute contingency plans. •Conducts activities to modify, apply, and maintain quality evaluation, control systems and protocols. •Evaluate technical data and work instructions in support of Engineering and Operations. •Identifies and manages risk utilizing and driving UPPAP core elements (e.g. PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow and Control Plans, etc.) to identify risk in product development and propose risk management solutions. Qualifications: •Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of experience to include leading teams, quality or manufacturing or operations and continuous improvement or an Advanced Degree and 7 years of experience to include leading teams, quality or manufacturing or operations and continuous improvement . •10 years of experience to include leading teams, quality or manufacturing or operations and continuous improvement or an Advanced Degree and 7 years of experience to include leading teams, quality or manufacturing or operations and continuous improvement .
