Support and facilitate audits and regulatory inspections and identify and raise quality issues with management. Responsible for multiple or highly complex projects. •Know and understand Bowling Green Metalforming Quality and Environmental policies. •Perform other duties as required. •Lead the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP/CPMP) process for new stamping dies and welding cells, ensuring all quality milestones are met before Start of Production (SOP). Develop & implement the IATF 16949 standards, processes, procedures, work instructions, and objectives for welding. •Oversee project activities, ensuring adherence to program timelines and issue tracking processes while coordinating cross functional teams, evaluating risks, implementing mitigation strategies, and providing clear communication to leadership and customer stakeholders. •PPAP Submissions: Oversee the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), including part layouts, capability studies, and material certifications. •Die & Gauge Buyoff: Review and approve stamping die tryouts and check fixture/gauge designs to ensure they accurately validate part geometry. •Process Controls: Establish Quality Standards and control plans specifically for stamping presses and welding subassemblies/assemblies.
