Hiring: Sr. MEP Project Engineer Company: Vanguard Location: Malvern, PA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-11 10:16:19 Employment Type: Hybrid About the job Required Skills: •Strategic Project Engineering Leadership – 50% •Serves as the senior engineering SME for complex capital projects and infrastructure initiatives. •Develops and governs Engineering Owner's Project Requirements (OPR), engineering standards, and technical best practices. •Reviews and approves Basis of Design (BOD) documents, major project deliverables, and technical submittals to ensure alignment with operational, reliability, and business requirements. •Leads engineering participation in project gate reviews, risk assessments, and critical decision-making processes. •Ensures owner requirements are integrated throughout the project lifecycle and leads project turnover planning and operational readiness activities. •Provides technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring to project engineers, facilities teams, and project stakeholders. •Commissioning Program Leadership – 25% Qualifications: •Minimum of five years of related engineering, facilities, commissioning, or project management experience, including experience leading complex projects and cross-functional initiatives. •Undergraduate degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of training and experience required; advanced degree preferred. •Strong knowledge of building systems, controls, commissioning processes, and facility operations. •Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders, manage technical risk, and drive project outcomes. •Commissioning certification required or ability to obtain within the first year; advanced certification preferred. •Vanguard is not offering visa sponsorship for this position. •To work for the long-term financial wellbeing of our clients.
