Hiring: Sr. Mechanical Product Engineer Company: Aptiv Location: Troy, MI Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 10:27:23 Target Skills & Keywords : Assembly About the job Required Skills: •Develop Electrical Center (EC) products and assemblies using customer requirements, Aptiv EC design/process standards, best practices, and design guidelines. •Lead the EC product development process, ensuring timely completion of internal design reviews. •Create robust designs using analysis tools such as Mold Flow, FEA, thermal analysis, and tolerance stack analysis while meeting cost, performance, and manufacturing requirements. •Prepare Validation Plans, DFMEAs, test reports, and DFM review materials. •Partner with Project Management to develop and manage timing plans for mechanical components and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule. •Coordinate with Manufacturing, Electrical, Systems Engineering, and Testing teams to ensure mechanical component and assembly requirements are met. •Generate cost estimates, change orders, RFQs, and other EC design documentation accurately and on time. •Develop and deliver technical presentations to customers.
