Required Skills: •Directs and manages mechanical design and engineering activities for projects or scopes of medium to large scale. •Manages complex interactions among multiple Bechtel entities or client-mandated collaborations with other contractors as required. •Supports inputs to the engineering components of a mechanical estimate including quantities, job hours and budgets for both proposals and execution phases. •Performs and manages the work in accordance with relevant Engineering Department Procedures (EDPs), design guides and Bechtel Standard Application Programs (BSAPs). •Supports mechanical engineering schedule in collaboration with all engineering disciplines. •Collaborates actively with Procurement, Construction, Startup, Environmental Safety and Health (ES&H), and Project Controls to align assigned mechanical engineering tasks. •Prepares / Approves bid analyses and recommendations for the procurement of assigned mechanical equipment, materials, and services. •Lead and oversee addressing and resolving mechanical engineering-related field or jobsite issues.
