Required Skills: •Process Design & Documentation: Own the creation and maintenance of all store-level SOPs and training materials related to DSD receiving, vendor management, and scanning compliance. •Field Enablement & Feedback: Partner with District Managers and Regional Directors to support store execution and act as the primary point of contact for field feedback and escalations, driving resolution through process or training improvements. •Execution Validation: In partnership with field leaders, conduct store visits and use data tools to validate vendor compliance with service requirements (e.g., visit frequency, delivery standards) and confirm stores have the necessary resources and training to successfully execute DSD scanning protocols. •Scanning Compliance & Quality: Analyze store-level scanning data to ensure process integrity and identify systemic issues (e.g., training needs or tool limitations) that lead to process exceptions like "manual overrides." •Vendor Field Performance: Use field feedback and vendor tracking tools to validate vendor performance; communicate discrepancies between "reported" vendor activity and "actual" store experiences to the DSD Director. •Store Advocacy: Serve as the store advocate during system design or process changes, ensuring that any new DSD requirements do not create undue labor or operational complexity for store teams. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in business, retail operations, supply chain, industrial engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered. •Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-site initiatives that improve store execution, vendor performance, scanning compliance, productivity, service levels, or cost. •Proven ability to translate enterprise strategy into scalable store processes, operating standards, SOPs, training materials, and execution routines. •Comprehensive expertise in DSD receiving, vendor service expectations, store operations, scanning and compliance processes, and the practical realities of field execution. •Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to connect process and vendor decisions to labor, sales, expense, compliance, service, and customer outcomes. •Advanced analytical capability, including KPI development, trend analysis, root-cause investigation, process-gap assessment, and converting operational data into actionable recommendations. •Proficiency in Microsoft Office, business intelligence and reporting tools, operational systems, and AI-enabled productivity tools, including the ability to use AI prompting responsibly to accelerate analysis, documentation, and communication. •Willingness to travel regularly to stores, field meetings, vendor locations, and other business sites as required.
