Required Skills: •Lead global lease accounting operations in compliance with ASC 842, IFRS, U.S. GAAP, and company policies, including lease classifications, modifications, complex transactions, and technical accounting assessments. •Oversee fixed asset and construction-in-progress (CIP) accounting, ensuring accurate capitalization, depreciation, amortization, impairment, disposals, and asset lifecycle management. •Manage period-end close and financial reporting activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, balance sheet reviews, SEC filings, statutory reporting, and financial statement disclosures. •Maintain strong internal controls and compliance frameworks, including SOX controls, audit support, remediation of control deficiencies, and monitoring of evolving accounting standards. •Partner with cross-functional stakeholders such as Real Estate, Legal, Procurement, Finance, and senior leadership to evaluate contracts, capital projects, business transactions, and accounting implications. •Drive operational excellence through systems management, automation, standardization, and process improvements, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of lease and fixed asset portfolios while supporting ERP and transformation initiatives. •Lead and develop a high-performing accounting team, establishing KPIs, mentoring staff, and supporting strategic initiatives including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, and major capital investments.
