Required Skills: •Demonstrated leadership and strategic planning skills. •Excellent oral, written, and listening communication skills. •Possess the desire and ability to quickly achieve and maintain a thorough understanding of Academy’s WMS. •Possess the desire and ability to quickly achieve and maintain a working knowledge of all other systems used within the Distribution Center (DC). •Demonstrated capacity to train and assist WMS Managers in the setup and capabilities of the WMS and associated systems and peripherals. •Serves as liaison between IT and all personnel on DC site. •Lead and oversee monitoring, evaluating, and maintaining the overall performance of the WMS and Radio Frequency (RF) network. •Analyzes and adjusts WMS strategies in partnership with DC Operations to ensure efficient flows of merchandise. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study or equivalent years of related work experience required. •Bachelor’s degree in either Information Systems or Logistics preferred.
