The position requires a passion for vehicle s and the desire to work with a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment to bring new and exciting products to market. •Lead the design process for vehicle related components and systems from concept to production. •Transform market requirements into system, subsystem and component specifications . •Perform project related assignments and work directly with all functions of the organization to ensure project success with respect to Quality, Delivery and Cost •Represent Engineering on cross functional new product development teams. •Ensure technical rigor for all projects assigned (Specifications, DFMEA, DVP, APQP, and Technical Design Reviews). •Creates and owns the Engineering Release Plan for all components, assemblies, installations, and Bills of Materials within assigned programs. •Remove roadblocks and accelerate implementation of projects. Qualifications: •Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required •Demonstrated expertise in product & assembly design for different manufacturing processes •This position may be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to feel; reach with hand and arms, and stoop, kneel or crouch as needed. •Specific vision requirements include the ability to see at close range, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. •Club Car is a diverse and inclusive environment.
