Required Skills: •Product Area Leadership •Lead and oversee shaping the overarching product lines vision and driving the go-to-market execution across the Radiation Detection products. •Provide overall focus, leadership and direction for assigned product lines/areas throughout the product lifecycle, in collaboration with engineering, operations and sales leadership. •Interface directly with other organizations to ensure that key issues facing the product line are addressed. Must be able to lead cross-functional teams and exhibit strong decision making, considering the best interest of the product line and the overall business. •Product Line Strategy / Product Planning •Establish for each product line a clear vision, strategy, and road map to create successful product growth and profitability, collaborating with engineering. operations and sales teams. •Evaluate new market, product opportunities; create and present business cases to support new product / product development recommendation. •Understand and stay current with the industry landscape, including market trends, customer needs, competitors, and technology. Qualifications: •BS in engineering or another technical field required MS/MBA (preferred) •Technical background – Significant experience engaged with new product development of complex electro mechanical products and radiation detection systems. •Financial acumen. Knowledge of key financial areas including product costing, project costing, project management and business case development practices. Able to assess financial impact of all product line decisions. Able to construct financial and cost analyses and present to management. •Strong communication skills , both written and verbal. Must have the ability to create and deliver reports and presentations for a senior management audience. •Proven track record leading people and teams, in either a project management or direct supervisor capacity •Must be able to demonstrate strong decision making and critical thinking ability •Program management experience desired •Demonstrated capacity to travel globally, up to 20% •Pay may range $195,000 to $200,000 annually •The pay range above represents annual base salary only. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as your job level, geographic location, date of hire, experience, job-related knowledge and skills, and education in conjunction with market and business considerations.
