Required Skills: •The ideal candidate brings a proven record of business development and capture success, strong customer relationships, knowledge of government acquisition processes, and the ability to lead complex pursuits from opportunity identification through contract award. •Develop and execute strategic business development and capture plans aligned with Exploration & Logistics growth objectives. •Identify, qualify, and shape new business opportunities across defense, federal civilian, logistics, engineering, mission operations, and exploration markets. •Lead capture efforts throughout the full business development lifecycle, including opportunity identification, qualification, positioning, teaming, solution development, proposal strategy, and award. •Build and maintain executive-level relationships with customers, industry partners, and key stakeholders. •Develop customer engagement strategies that strengthen KBR’s position and expand market presence. •Partner with operational leadership to align growth initiatives with organizational priorities and capabilities. •Maintain and manage a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities using established business development processes and tools. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Science, Technology, or a related field. •Demonstrated success capturing and winning large, complex opportunities exceeding $100M in contract value. •Strong knowledge of federal acquisition regulations, government contracting practices, and customer procurement processes. •Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with senior government, military, and industry leaders. •In-depth knowledge of defense, federal civilian, logistics, engineering, mission operations, or space exploration markets. •Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills. •Demonstrated ability to collaborate across geographically dispersed teams and organizational boundaries. •Demonstrated capacity to travel approximately 25–50% as business needs require. •Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance. •Master’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Science, Public Administration, or a related discipline.
