Experience in testing and debugging integrated solutions. Understanding of system management processes and tools. Understanding of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and package solutions. •Strong communication skills and knowledge of planning, management and execution of the Accelerated Solutions Delivery framework are needed. Information Security acumen, ability to influence, negotiate, and set priorities are also needed. Insurance or financial services industry knowledge is a plus. •Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence. •Staffing exceptions to the above must be approved by the Vice President and Human Resource Business Partner. •: Regularly and consistently demonstrates the Nationwide Values. Required Skills: •Executes all aspects of capacity: driving requirements to meet current and future needs, tracking capacity postures. •Applies secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure our data and technology solutions are protected from threats and vulnerabilities. •Analyzes reports and delivery recommendations to remediate capacity issues. •Participates in technology/product optimization, migrations and management, including technology/product design, planning, power and environmental management. •Continuously improves and enhances existing environments. •Maintains proper hardware and software currency levels by working on recommended upgrades. •Conducts proactive system maintenance, disaster recovery planning, data backup and recovery as well as inventory, configuration and utility product management. •Executes production engineering processes, including incident management, root cause analysis, problem management, change management, release management and knowledge management. Qualifications: •: Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems or a related field are preferred. •Technology certifications or designations are not required, but encouraged (i.e., AWS, Azure, scripting and development languages, delivery methods, security).
