Location: Mooresville, NC Job Posted Time: 2026-09-12 13:31:45 Target Skills & Keywords : Regulatory Compliance About the job Experience: •5+ Years of experience with Tariff classification and import regulatory compliance Required Skills: •Manage classification determination process on all import products. •Consult pertinent GRI protocols and section & chapter notes. •Identify and notes any relevant binding rulings issued on similar products. •Consult explanatory notes to confirm constituent material or product characteristics upon which proper classification is based. •Communicate classification and duty determination results to LGS, Merchandising and all relevant Lowe’s departments as necessary. •Lead distribution of updates to Customs Broker as per current procedure and maintains database documentation that clearly demonstrates reasonable care as required by U.S Customs and Border Protection. •Analyze binding rulings on subjective items by preparing and submitting new items for binding ruling advice from Customs & Border Protection as necessary. •Manage compliance of import product for country-of-origin risk factors, eligibility for preferential duty treatment under applicable rules of origin, and applicability of supplementary duty for items, including anti-dumping duties, countervailing duties and Presidential Order. Refers product for further evaluation and determinations as warranted.
