Required Skills: •Partner closely with operational leaders and legal team members to develop and maintain process and regulatory requirement subject matter expertise and advise on process/control design, gaps, and remediation. •Plan and execute operational compliance testing and monitoring activities to identify, evaluate, and report out on risks, non-compliance, inconsistencies, and process improvements. Develop risk coverage strategy and creative efficiencies for testing. •Gather, review, and validate information as well as testing documentation that supports risk coverage, risk assessment, external examinations, and other reviews. •Escalate issues, identify root causes, and collaborate with business leaders on appropriate actions to remediate. Summarize complicated findings for executive reporting. •Support compliance training and communication initiatives in support of overarching Compliance Program objectives. •Ensure consistent high-quality documentation, guidance, and reporting. Mentor junior advisors. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or related field. •4+ years of compliance or audit experience, preferably in public accounting or large corporate internal audit/compliance department; or 7+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree. •Detailed knowledge & prior experience with risk assessments, internal controls, root cause analysis, and compliance principles. •Proven ability to work independently, build relationships, communicate clearly on complex issues, and balance multiple priorities.
