Hiring: Sr. Accountant/Financial Analyst Company: AAA-The Auto Club Group Location: Detroit Metropolitan Area Job Posted Time: 2026-09-16 17:37:48 Employment Type: Full-time / Remote About the job Experience: •Preparing and developing financial reports •Using automated accounting and/or management reporting systems •Preparing, analyzing and interpreting in-depth analyses of financial and or statistical data •Model development and manipulation using Microsoft Office products •Overseeing and guiding assigned individual deliverables to successful completion Required Skills: •Provides support to various accounting activities including journal entries, analysis and reconciliation of complex, higher risk general ledger and bank accounts and/or bank accounting, variance explanations, etc. •Communicate effectively with others both orally and in writing •Demonstrate decision making and problem solving •Derive actionable conclusions from analyzing data and information •Work irregular or extended hours as required •Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics or related field •Applying Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and/or Insurance Statutory Accounting Principles •Preparing complex account analysis and general ledger reconciliations •Certified Public Accountant and/or Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Tax •Knowledge of AAA products and services •This position works from a home office location.
