Hiring: Spirit Defense - Entry-level Technical Analyst Company: Spirit AeroSystems Location: Wichita, KS Job Posted Time: 2026-09-17 13:30:52 Target Skills & Keywords : Assembly, AutoCAD, CAD, CATIA, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, Project Management, Secret Clearance, Security Clearance, Visio About the job Experience: •3+ years’ experience in project management, developing and sustaining large complex projects Required Skills: •Design, develop, verify, apply, and implement experimental technologies and improvements to established fabrication technologies. •Support multi-functional teams in the above effort, coordinate the identification and capture of cost and weight savings, and assist in strategic technology planning. •Research, design, develop and analyze materials, tools, products, and their related fabrication and assembly processes to develop and optimize for use in engineering design of and/or application in aero systems structures, systems and subsystems. •Develop, analyze, and apply material properties and design allowables, processing methods, and quality engineering specifications and standards to metallic fabrication projects. •Review engineering drawings and documents for part conformance and assist in resolving part failure analysis for fabrication, assembly and in service problems. •Implement concepts and designs, analyze prototype systems, equipment, and processes, and verify compliance with customer requirements, company policy, procedures and guidelines, and governmental regulations. •Facilitate technology implementation in production and provide support to the user community. •Determine the feasibility of new design, modeling, and fabrication techniques, as well as investigate and analyze problems to restore the quality and functionality of products and processes.
