Our team is currently hiring for the Levels 5-6. •Help set technical direction for the group and beyond •Identify and create essential processes, tools, standards, and design guides to build a knowledge-base and set best-practices •Support Responsible Engineering Authorities (REAs) as needed to solve technical challenges, identify solutions, and develop verification tests •As part of the team’s technical lead engineering (TLE) group, provide technical guidance to programs on an as-needed basis though activities such as attending design reviews and customer meetings, failure review and analysis, and trade study assessment •Audit internal programs and external suppliers to identify industry best practices and opportunities for improvement •Serve as a technical mentor for mid-career mechanical engineers Qualifications: •Adept with CAD software such as SolidWorks or similar, and GD&T per ASME Y14.5 •Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals, knowledge of satellite hardware, qualification methods, and first principles understanding of all spacecraft sub-systems •Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences) •This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
