Hiring: Spacecraft Avionics Harness Technician Company: K2 Space Corporation Location: Los Angeles, CA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-03 11:18:29 Target Skills & Keywords : Assembly, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Microsoft Office, PCB About the job Experience: •2+ years of experience in cable harness fabrication, assembly, or integration Required Skills: •Fabricate wire harnesses from assembly drawings and electrical schematics •Assemble electromechanical assemblies and assist engineering with the development of production processes for first time builds •Follow work instructions / assembly procedures and document work performed through MES system and other tools •Work side-by-side with design and manufacturing engineering in a fast-paced environment •Route harnesses and support integration of electromechanical assemblies on the Mega-class satellite •Support production transition from engineering development and initial production to full rate production •Provide consistent process improvement feedback to engineering and production leadership Qualifications: •Proficiency in MS Office suite, and shop floor management software •Demonstrate high level of ownership and problem-solving abilities •Able to set up and use a torque wrench and other hand tools such as: wrenches and safety wire pliers •Familiar with ERP and part traceability •Demonstrated capacity to adapt to changing work assignments under tight deadlines •IPC Certified for PCB and cable harness rework (IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620) •Hand soldering ability and PCB rework experience •Demonstrated capacity to read, review, and redline electrical schematics and mechanical drawings •Strong communication skills with ability to communicate hardware and systems problems •Must be able to perform repetitive tasks such as bending or twisting, grasping, standing, lifting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, carrying, and use hands to operate tools or machine controls Compensation: •Competitive benefits and rewards package •Hourly pay range for this non-exempt role is $24– $35 + equity in the company Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
