Required Skills: •Develop and maintain SysML-based system models throughout the development lifecycle. •Create and manage key SysML artifacts, including Block Definition Diagrams (BDDs), Internal Block Diagrams (IBDs), state machine diagrams, sequence diagrams, and use cases. •Capture, allocate, derive, and trace system requirements within the model. •Generate and maintain Interface Control Documents (ICDs) from model-defined interfaces. •Support system architecture, trade studies, interface definition, and requirements verification activities. •Partner with systems, hardware, software, test, and program teams to ensure the model accurately reflects the system design and requirements baseline. •Establish and maintain model quality, consistency, traceability, and configuration-management practices. •Manage verification and validation (V&V) activities using MBSE, including modeling verification methods, tracing requirements to verification artifacts, and monitoring verification status within the system model. Qualifications: •We are seeking a Space Systems MBSE Engineer to develop and maintain system models that support requirements development, architecture definition, interface management, verification planning for Space program execution. •Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline. •Proficiency with SysML and development of BDDs, IBDs, state diagrams, sequence diagrams, and use case diagrams. •Demonstrated real-world experience applying MBSE to support the systems engineering V-lifecycle process, from stakeholder needs and requirements decomposition through architecture, integration, verification, and validation. •Demonstrated experience with requirements management, decomposition, derivation, allocation, and traceability within a system model. •In-depth knowledge of systems engineering lifecycle processes, including requirements development, architecture, integration, verification, and validation. •Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
