This includes creating new policies, procedures, and tools to ensure adherence to regulations and internal guidelines. •Conducting internal audits and risk assessments of procurement processes: This involves proactively evaluating procurement activities to identify potential areas of non-compliance and assess the associated risks. This often includes analyzing data, reviewing documentation, and interviewing stakeholders to ensure processes are sound and compliant. •Complete government Purchase Order compliance reviews to support maintaining of an approved purchasing system and complete DCMA Small Business 640 reviews to maintain an acceptable government rating. •Managing and monitoring vendor compliance: The Sr. Compliance Specialist takes ownership of ensuring that external vendors and suppliers also adhere to relevant regulations and the organization's compliance requirements.
