Required Skills: •This position is located onsite in our San Mateo office; not hybrid or remote •Oversee the daily activities of the ASE training program, ensuring ASEs are meeting their learning milestones in areas such as cloud infrastructure, networking, and physical security. •Partner cross-functionally with Solutions Engineering leaders and trainers to build and refine training content that meets the evolving technical needs of the company. •Provide mentorship and career development support to ASEs, fostering a positive learning environment and offering guidance on future career paths. •Coordinate hands-on technical projects that allow ASEs to work with Verkada's full product suite, gaining real-world experience in designing and implementing security solutions. •Ensure ASEs are progressing in their communication and presentation skills, preparing them to interface with customers and deliver technical solutions. •Manage program logistics, including scheduling, cohort management, managing travel, and tracking ASE progress in technical certifications and soft skill development. •Facilitate ASE engagement with SE mentors and track the success of those relationships. Qualifications: •In-depth knowledge of technical domains such as computer networking, cloud architecture, and security infrastructure. •Previous experience in technical training or mentorship is highly desirable. •Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. •Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and guide early-career engineers. •Demonstrated capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong sense of accountability and adaptability. •Passion for technology, education, and continuous improvement.
