Required Skills: •· Conduct detailed investment analysis, including industry and market research, financial modeling, valuation work, and business operational assessment. •· Develop and refine investment themes within Bow River's targeted software verticals, identifying emerging opportunities and market trends that align with the firm's strategy. •· Create deliverables and present information for internal investment underwriting, limited partner communication, meetings with management teams, and investment sourcing. •· Manage the end-to-end transaction execution process, including coordination of third-party due diligence workstreams, negotiation and review of transaction documentation, and support of debt and equity capital raising activities. •· Drive portfolio company value creation through proactive financial monitoring, execution of strategic growth initiatives, board-level participation, and direct collaboration with portfolio company leadership. •· Engage regularly with senior members of the firm, including Managing Directors, as well as the executive leadership of portfolio companies and prospective investments. •· Contribute across all stages of the Software Growth Equity investment lifecycle, from sourcing and diligence through closing, value creation, and exit. •We are actively recruiting a transactional expert with 1 to 3 years of Tech/Software investment banking or primary investing experience (e.g., PE, VC, corporate M&A) to assist in the closing of three to four platform investments and add-ons per year. Qualifications: •· Bachelor's degree with a distinguished academic record; degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Mathematics preferred. •· 1 to 3 years of experience in technology-focused investment banking, private equity, growth equity, or corporate M&A. •· Direct experience working with or investing in recurring-revenue B2B SaaS businesses, with a strong and deep understanding of their business models, unit economics, key performance metrics, and the operational and financial drivers of these businesses. •· Advanced Excel, strong financial modeling, and valuation skills. •· Working knowledge of private equity transaction structures, deal mechanics, and software industry terminology and concepts. •· Strong understanding of applied investment and valuation analysis. •· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex analyses into clear, concise deliverables for internal and external audiences. •· Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to evaluate investment opportunities from both quantitative and qualitative perspectives. •· Proven leadership experience with a collaborative, team-first approach and a willingness to take ownership of workstreams and drive them to completion. •· Strong track record of personal, academic, professional, and extracurricular accomplishments.
