Required Skills: •Annapurna Labs is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the AWS Neuron Distributed Training team. This role focuses on developing, enabling, and performance-tuning distributed training solutions for a broad range of machine learning model families. •The position will work with large-scale models including LLMs such as GPT-OSS, Quen, and Llama, as well as Stable Diffusion, Vision Transformers (ViT), and other advanced ML architectures. •The engineer will work closely with chip architects, compiler engineers, and runtime engineers to develop distributed training capabilities for AWS Trainium. Strong experience training large models with PyTorch and familiarity with distributed training strategies are central to the role. •Lead efforts to build distributed training support across PyTorch, the Neuron compiler, and runtime stacks. •Enable distributed training strategies and optimize machine learning models for AWS custom silicon. •Develop and tune large-scale training workloads running on AWS Trainium servers. •Interface directly with distributed training approaches including Fully-Sharded Data Parallel (FSDP), Pipeline Parallelism, and Context Parallelism. •Extend distributed training libraries and frameworks for the AWS Neuron ecosystem.
