Required Skills: •As a Software Engineer on the Tyler Wisconsin team, you will design, build, and maintain applications used every day by Wisconsin residents, businesses, and state agency staff. You will work across a portfolio that spans long-lived ASP.NET Framework applications and new development on modern .NET, owning features end to end. •This is a hybrid role which requires 3 days onsite, in office, per week. •Design and deliver complete features, from requirements through deployment. •Work full stack: database schema, through API, through user interface. •Maintain, enhance, and modernize existing ASP.NET Framework applications, including WCF services, and help migrate them onto modern .NET. •Debug and troubleshoot across the stack, including database and query performance. •Follow and champion best practices for security, testing, and API design. •Own testing strategy and code coverage for the areas you work in. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience. •Proficiency in C# and .NET, across both .NET Framework and modern .NET. •Web development with ASP.NET MVC, Razor Pages, RESTful APIs, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.
